About the Author:
Ravi Gupta, a certified sleep physician from 'World Sleep Federation' with keen interest in sleep medicine, is currently running 'Sleep Clinic and Sleep Laboratory' in his present institute. With around 90 publications in the fields of 'Psychiatry, Headache and Sleep Medicine' in various peer-reviewed national and international journals he has contributed 11 chapters in Indian books and 4 in international books. He is serving as a member on the editorial boards of various journals and is also a peer reviewer for a number of national and international journals.
Based upon the academic credentials and his research, he has numerous awards to his credit. Notable among them are - 'Indian Young Psychiatrist (Indian Psychiatric Society, 2008), Young Psychiatrist fellowships from World Psychiatric Association (2008) and Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology (2009)'. He was also awarded the 'Mini Fellowship' in Sleep Medicine by American Academy of Sleep Medicine in 2010. He was elected as the member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2015.
