The Journal of Architectural Engineering is a multidisciplinary forum for dissemination of research- based engineering and technical information related to all aspects of building engineering design in the form of peer-reviewed technical papers, technical notes, and case studies. The scope of the journal’s topics include; acoustics, construction, construction management, controls, electrical engineering and systems, indoor environmental quality, lighting and day lighting, mechanical engineering and systems, rehabilitation of existing structures, structural assessment, structural engineering, and sustainable construction/design, in the context of building systems engineering. Innovative and multi-disciplinary studies promoting an integrated approach to planning, design, construction and operation of buildings are especially encouraged. The journal also welcomes papers on the topic of architectural engineering education.
