This book focuses on public health approaches for meeting the requirements of global non-communicable diseases (NCDs) agenda after United Nations high-level meeting on NCD with emphasis on specific requirements of developing countries. It stresses upon prevention and control of NCDs, mainly diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, cancer, stroke, chronic kidney diseases and mental health which assumed epidemic proportions globally.
